Several games in primetime

Before the schedule was released, we talked about how the Broncos should have plenty of primetime games this season. The league obliged.

Last season, the Broncos did not appear in a game on Monday Night Football for the first time in 29 years, a league record. If you’re looking for an indication of just how far this franchise has fallen, that right there is a good barometer.

They will be able to start a new streak this season.

The Broncos will appear on Monday night twice this season, including in the season-opening game against the Seahawks. They will also play in three other nationally televised games in primetime TV slots.

Clearly, the addition of Wilson has made the Broncos a more attractive team as this is a drastic change from last season when they played in just two primetime games and one of those had to be flexed to Sunday Night Football.

But those are the kinds of games that teams get up for, they have that extra electricity. It has a very Peyton Manning in 2012 feel to it and we all remember how successful that season was in Denver.
