Travis Fulgham, Wide receiver

It would be great to see Travis Fulgham have a terrific training camp and somehow make this team. He has the talent to do it. And he is motivated to make it happen.

Fulgham was selected in the sixth round of the 2019 draft by the Detroit Lions. He washed out pretty quickly there but caught on with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2020 and started eight games for them, catching 38 passes for 539 yards and four touchdowns.

He was a bit of a surprise cut by the Eagles last summer before being re-signed to their practice squad. After being released there, he was picked up by the Miami Dolphins and spent two months on their practice squad.

After being released by the Dolphins, the Broncos scooped him up in mid December and he even appeared in one game for the team and did enough in that short amount of time to convince the team to sign him to a future contract following the season.

This may be Fulgham’s last chance in the league and there is a lot of competition in front of him.

The general belief is that Courtland Sutton, Jerry Jeudy, Tim Patrick, K.J. Hamler and fifth-round pick Montrell Washington are all going to make the team. Tyrie Cleveland and Kendall Hinton have good roots with the team as well so Fulgham has his work cut out for him.

But he could definitely sneak onto the 53-man roster if the Broncos keep six wideouts and if not, he should absolutely be placed on the practice squad if he is able to clear waivers following final roster cuts.
