Three offensive and three defensive free agents for Denver Broncos

Even though KJ Hamler is apparently going to be ready for week one, the team would still be smart to sign a quality receiver like Hamler, just in case.

Plus, Hamler’s on-field production isn’t exactly warranting the second-round pick the team spent on him.

Enter, DeSean Jackson, a savvy and fast veteran who is entering the final holes of his career.

Jackson surely wants to sign with a contender, and I think he could catch a few balls from Russell Wilson in Denver.

Jackson would come in and probably serve as a WR5 or WR4 at best, but that’s perfectly OK.

Perhaps getting him on the field with the likes of Courtland Sutton, Jerry Jeudy, and Tim Patrick would allow Jackson to expose lesser defensive backs on opposing team’s rosters.

It’s a win-win for both sides and something that isn’t going to be a huge financial investment.

Jackson would surely sign for close to a minimum amount allowed, and the upside here is virtually unlimited.

The team doesn’t need to sign another wide receiver, but he’s someone to keep an eye on if the bottom of that unit shows some inconsistencies.
