The Denver Broncos have one of the best offenses on paper in the NFL, but which opposing quarterbacks in 2022 could give the offense a hard time?

The Denver Broncos can reasonably be expected to have one of the top offenses in the NFL this season.

If we look back at the point per game output when Russell Wilson was with the Seahawks, we’ll see that Wilson-led offenses had no trouble putting points on the board.

Couple Wilson’s skill with the absurd amount of quality pass-catchers, and the Denver Broncos offense could be lethal.

However, there could be a few games during the season where the receivers perhaps don’t play as well as we’d expect.

The trio of Courtland Sutton, Tim Patrick, and Jerry Jeudy is among the league’s best, and with a healthy KJ Hamler in the mix, I’m not sure any team has the depth and overall talent that Denver does at the position.

While one singular cornerback can’t cover multiple guys at once, there are a few that the offense will see that could give them troubles.

This could perhaps lead to a stronger reliance on the running game, which Denver anchors with Melvin Gordon and Javonte Williams.

With that said, which cornerbacks are going to give the Denver Broncos some trouble in 2022?

Which cornerbacks will give Denver Broncos trouble in 2022?

1. Jalen Ramsey, Los Angeles Rams

No surprise here.  Jalen Ramsey, perhaps the best corner in the league and a future Hall of Fame player, is going to give the Denver Broncos’ receivers some trouble this season.

Outside of Ramsey, the Rams’ secondary isn’t exactly loaded with stars.  They called Eric Weddle out of retirement during the 2021 postseason and acquired Troy Hill back from the Cleveland Browns.

Their secondary is very good because of Ramsey, and I think he has the potential to be very disruptive for the entire receiving core.

Ramsey might predominantly line up across from Courtland Sutton, while Troy Hill of the Rams may mainly line up across from Jerry Jeudy, but I would expect Ramsey to make his rounds and want to line up against as many Broncos’ receivers as he can.

He’s a complete player.  He’s very good in coverage and is a strong tackler.  He’s the anchor of their backend and is probably still getting better.  Expect Jalen Ramsey to give the Denver Broncos some trouble when they play on Christmas.
