Former Denver Broncos player no. 9: Von Miller, EDGE, Buffalo Bills

I think just because of the circumstances of everything going on last year, most Broncos fans had an easy time rooting for Von Miller with the Los Angeles Rams.

The team got draft picks in return for him at the trade deadline.

The Rams are in the NFC.

Miller was openly very appreciative of the Broncos and even talked about coming back.

Now, I think fans are going to have a hard time watching the former Super Bowl MVP play for another AFC contender.

Miller signed a six-year, $120 million contract with the Buffalo Bills, which seems massive (because it is) but Miller likely isn’t going to see all $120 million of that. The contract is structured in such a way to help Miller fit against the Bills’ salary cap.

With that being said, Miller was still obviously playing at an extremely high level in 2021 and with the Rams in the playoffs, he was a man on a mission.

Can he keep up that level of play with the Bills?

Sure, Miller is getting older but who cares? He’s still in peak condition and doesn’t appear to be slowing down.

Injuries derailed the end of his time in Denver but if he can stay healthy, he should be a great addition for Buffalo.
