The Denver Broncos are expected to be one of the most improved teams in the league in 2022.

The massive trade by the team to acquire Russell Wilson is the main reason for that. Still, free-agent signings Randy Gregory and D.J. Jones and the decision to bring back Melvin Gordon and Kareem Jackson, among many other moves, will be key factors as well.

But as is the case for the other 31 teams in the league, roster turnover from one year to the next is always high. That is just the nature of the NFL business.

The Broncos had several players to make decisions on this offseason and though they chose to bring a few back, they also decided to part ways with several others.

The Broncos have a clear vision of how the team will look under its new coaching staff led by Nathaniel Hackett. Players that fit in with the old system and ideals that were put in place by Vic Fangio and his staff were no longer needed.

The team was right to move on from each of the players listed here for one reason or another.
