Denver Broncos roster sleeper no. 3: Ben Braden, offensive line

I will be the first to admit — I have no idea what to expect from the Denver Broncos in 2022 regarding the offensive line rotation.

We know Garett Bolles will be the starting left tackle. We’re relatively certain that Quinn Meinerz is going to be the starting right guard.

What could the offensive line look like outside of those two spots being filled?

Although I’m not expecting him to be in the starting lineup (barring injury), I do think that free agent signing Ben Braden has flown a little under the radar.

Braden has tackle/guard versatility and he has worked closely with Nathaniel Hackett and Justin Outten the last couple of seasons as a member of the Green Bay Packers.

Because of his versatility and athleticism, you can’t help but wonder if there’s going to be a spot for Braden on this Denver Broncos roster one way or the other.

The Broncos signed Tom Compton in free agency to also provide some depth at both guard and tackle. They brought in Billy Turner, who was a teammate of Braden’s with the Packers.

As of right now, it just doesn’t feel like all of Lloyd Cushenberry, Dalton Risner, Graham Glasgow, and Netane Muti are going to be with the Denver Broncos in 2022.

There’s also rookie Luke Wattenberg to consider in the mix now as well.

Ben Braden is not the biggest name on the Broncos’ offensive line but he probably knows the scheme better than just about every other player on the team right now.
