Three best QBs Denver Broncos will play in 2022

2. Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs

Patrick Mahomes is also really good at football.  He’s so good that in his worst year as a starting quarterback, 2021, Mahomes still managed to throw for 37 touchdowns and over 4,800 yards.

His rating was 98.5, which was the lowest of his starting career.  For many quarterbacks, this would have been a career year.

For Patrick Mahomes, this was, by all accounts, a down year.

The Denver Broncos have never beaten the Kansas City Chiefs in the Mahomes era.  There have been a few close calls, but the team has never had enough on offense to make it happen.

Mahomes is going to be in the Hall of Fame one day and is someone Denver simply needs to deal with for the next 10 or so years.

His not having Tyreek Hill anymore is going to be a huge bonus for Denver, but I can’t imagine that he and Andy Reid can’t come up with a way to work around that.

Depending on who you ask, Mahomes is the best QB in the NFL.  Through five total seasons, he’s won 50 regular season games, an MVP, a Super Bowl, and thrown for 151 touchdown passes.

He’s an insane specimen and is clearly one of the best overall players in the league.

But, if he’s the second-best QB the Denver Broncos will face in 2022, who is the best?
