Best Denver Broncos QB performances over the last 5 years

3. Trevor Siemian, 2017, Week 2

Remember Trevor Siemian?  He was perhaps the closest thing the Denver Broncos got to finding a legitimate quarterback after the 2015 season.

In 2016, he threw 18 touchdown passes to go with 10 interceptions.

He started the 2017 season throwing for six touchdowns on two interceptions.

So, a 24:12 TD:INT ratio in the span of 16 games gave Broncos Country a glimmer of hope for the future.

As we know, Trevor Siemian did not figure it out in Denver, but his week two performance in 2017 was stellar.

The Broncos welcomed the Dallas Cowboys into town.  Dallas was coming off a stellar season of their own led by 2016 rookies Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott.

However, Denver evidently did not give a rip about how good they were the previous season.

It was a drubbing from the Broncos, with both sides of the ball contributing to the result.

Siemian was magical, throwing for 231 yards, four touchdowns, and one interception, earning a 116.0 passer rating.

C.J. Anderson added a touchdown on the ground, and Aqib Talib had a pick-six towards the end of the game.

What a fun game that was.
