Broncos projected 2022 interceptions leader: Patrick Surtain

Justin Simmons has led the Broncos in interceptions in each of the last four seasons but last year, the rookie Patrick Surtain had just one less than him.

He may have low numbers in that area in 2022 if teams decide to shy away from his side of the field but he faces a lot of quarterbacks, particularly in his own division, who feel they can make every throw and will challenge him.

Surtain has great ball skills and will make plays in his second year, establishing himself as one of the best cornerbacks in the league.

Simmons will likely create several turnovers himself, he has created quite the habit of doing that in his career but this year, it will be Surtain who gets him in the interceptions department.

Prediction: Patrick Surtain makes six interceptions
