Best Denver Broncos games over last five seasons

3. Denver Broncos vs. Arizona Cardinals, Week 7, 2018

WOW.  This was perhaps one of the best games I’ve ever seen the Denver Broncos play.  It was an all-out mauling of the lowly Arizona Cardinals, who had just drafted Josh Rosen and were in the first year of the Steve Wilks era.

For those who remember, this was also the game where Bronco great Von Miller said, to put it mildly, that they were going to kick the rear ends of the Cardinals.

Boy, was he right.  This game wasn’t close at any point.  Denver put up 45 points, leading 35-3 at halftime.

Denver was 2-4 entering the game, and Arizona was 1-5, but even the one-game difference in record did not show the obvious talent gap that Denver had over the Cardinals.

Emmanuel Sanders threw a touchdown pass to Courtland Sutton, and the defense had six tacks, two each from Von Miller and Bradley Chubb.  The Broncos had three interceptions and scored two defensive touchdowns.

There was no saving the Cardinals from this absolute stellar showing from Denver.

I think you could argue that this was the best game the Broncos have played in the last five years, but I’m thinking more of the dramatics.

The last two games on this list certainly brought that.
