Best Denver Broncos games over the last five seasons

4. Denver Broncos vs. Dallas Cowboys, Week 9, 2021

This was a fun game.  It was a classic trap game for the Cowboys, who entered the game at 6-1.  The Denver Broncos were 4-4, coming off a win against the Washington Football Team after they endured four straight losses.

The game opened up with a long kick return for Dallas, and I immediately thought that we were toast.

However, Vic Fangio’s defense was lethal, keeping the best offense in the NFL without a score until the fourth quarter.

Teddy Bridgewater was efficient, throwing a touchdown pass, and Javonte Williams and Melvin Gordon combined for nearly 200 rushing yards.  Caden Sterns picked off Dak Prescott, and Jonathon Cooper had two sacks.

This was also in Dallas, which made it even more impressive.

The Broncos showed a lot of heart during this game, and as it wore on, it became more clear that this was one of their better wins in recent history.
