Where does Denver Broncos front seven rank in AFC West?

1. Los Angeles Chargers

I think the Chargers have the strongest front seven in the AFC West.  They got busy this offseason, adding a ton of talent to their roster, especially on defense, which was one of the worst in the league in 2021.

Their biggest move perhaps was trading for Khalil Mack, who will now get to run with Joey Bosa.

They also recently added Kyle Van Noy, a very talented linebacker who has spent most of his career with New England.

They have two All-Pro pass rushers and quality linebackers.

Other linebackers on their roster include inside linebackers Kenneth Murray, Drue Tranquill, and Nick Niemann.

This unit went from a weakness to a strength in just one offseason.

I think this unit is especially going to fest because of Los Angeles’ insane secondary, which will surely keep opposing passing attacks in check, allowing the front seven to do work up front.

The Chargers had perhaps the worst defense in the NFL last year.

With their various additions in the secondary and along their front seven, they’re poised to have a top unit.
