Where do Denver Broncos tight ends and running backs rank?

2. Kansas City Chiefs

Starting with the running backs, Clyde Edwards-Helaire and Ronald Jones are a very solid duo.  Their ceiling is limited, as neither player has rushed for 1,000 yards in a season.  However, in this Chiefs’ offense, they’ll both be competent producers.

It’s a nice one-two punch for the Chiefs.  They’ll both just be good enough to allow the Chiefs to do what they want to do.

The biggest reason the Chiefs are this high is because of Travis Kelce, who is a first ballot Hall of Fame tight end.

Kelce has enjoyed six straight 1,000-yard receiving seasons, which is rare even for receivers.

He turns 33 this season and will surely hit 10,000 career regular season receiving yards. He’s shown no signs of slowing down and is the centerpiece of the Chiefs’ offense.

With Tyreek Hill no longer in the mix, expect teams to place even more attention on Kelce.

There’s an argument to be made that Kelce will either have a down year without Hill, or will get much more attention in the receiving game and have an even better year. I think it’s a safe bet to peg him as having yet another very easy 1,000-yard season.

Kelce/CEH/Jones is a great combination, but there’s one team that is the best.
