Where does Russell Wilson rank among AFC West QBs?

2. Russell Wilson, Denver Broncos

Soon after the trade for Russell Wilson, many across the NFL made it into a bit of a joke, saying the Broncos went from having the fourth best QB in the division to the third-best QB in the division.

However, I think there’s more proof that Russell Wilson is the second-best QB in the AFC West.

Russell Wilson, in 2021, endured his first losing season of his 10-year NFL career.

For the first nine seasons of his career, Russell Wilson had a winning record every year.  In fact, his Seahawks’ teams won double-digit games in the regular season every year except in 2017.

Wilson also keeps the ball safe.  He’s never thrown more than 13 interceptions in a season and has six seasons of throwing single-digit picks.

He’s also got a 9-7 career playoff record, meaning in 10 career seasons, Russell Wilson has won 113 games.

He’s got a Super Bowl title as well.

There’s no argument here–Wilson is the most successful QB in the AFC West by a mile.

However, the best QB in the division has torn up the Denver Broncos in his short career and might end his career as the best of all time.
