Broncos potential trap game No. 2: Week 7 vs. New York Jets

Another matchup against a second-year quarterback but most expect Zack Wilson and the New York Jets to be fighting an uphill battle in 2022. Or at least that was the expectation before the 2022 NFL Draft.

The Jets had one of the best drafts in the entire league but they still seem to be a future contender rather than a current contender. But in a one-game situation, any team can beat any other team in the NFL.

The Broncos have beaten the Jets in five of the last six meetings, including a 26-0 drubbing last season. But Wilson has had a year in the system and has a few new offensive weapons around him including Garrett Wilson and Breece Hall.

This game will also take place one week ahead of the Broncos’ long trip to London to face the Jacksonville Jaguars, so they can’t afford to be antsy or complacent in this game.

The Broncos should absolutely win this game, but there are multiple games like this each season where the home team takes an inexplicable loss to an inferior opponent.

Kind of like when the Broncos went into AT&T Stadium last year and blew out the Dallas Cowboys.
