The Denver Broncos have had a few days to sit back and digest their 2022 schedule but even knowing when you face a certain opponent doesn’t come close to preparing you for an NFL game.

The release of the NFL schedule is a fun time for fans. It brings forth plenty of predictions and speculative talk, but if the NFL is one thing, it is quite an unpredictable league. Last year at this time, not one person was picking the Cincinnati Bengals to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl.

In other words, there is no such thing as a guaranteed win in the NFL and every opponent should be taken seriously. However, at least one upset happens seemingly every week in the NFL.

That could be for a variety of reasons.

That could be due to the fact that one team overlooks another, perhaps looking to their next opponent. Teams are often predicted to win easily over certain opponents, particularly when they are at home. These are often referred to as trap games and the Broncos have a few of those potential games on their schedule.

These three teams don’t project to be particularly strong in 2022, but they should not be taken lightly.
