Denver Broncos schedule 2022: Toughest game no. 2

Week 5: @ Las Vegas Raiders

The Denver Broncos’ recent struggles against the Kansas City Chiefs are obviously very well-documented at this point.

The last time Denver beat the Chiefs was back in Week 2 of the 2015 season. Everybody knows about the team’s embarrassing 13-game losing streak against the Chiefs.

Do you want to know what else hasn’t happened since the Broncos’ championship 2015 season?

Beating the Raiders on the road.

No joke.

The Broncos are on an ice cold streak on the road against the Raiders with six straight losses in Oakland and Las Vegas combined.

The Broncos have also lost seven of the last nine games against the Raiders just in general.

As much as the Chiefs have had the Broncos’ number over the last six years, the Raiders have had their number almost just as much, and it’s been a wildly embarrassing time.

This early road trip to Las Vegas to take on the Raiders will be a huge test for the Broncos. Every game in the NFL is tough, but the Broncos’ first three games of the 2022 season could be relatively “easy” by comparison, especially if the 49ers are still breaking in Trey Lance.

This Raiders game will be the first division matchup of the season for the Broncos and just like their streak against the Chiefs, the Broncos are trying to get back on the board with a road win against the Raiders.
