While the Denver Broncos offense is mostly set, there could be a few surprises among the starters. Who should be on the starting offense in 2022?

As most of us can see, the Denver Broncos roster is mostly set.  It is rather easy to project who we think will start at each position.

However, there are a few positions on the team where it could be anyone’s guess.  It’s rather uncertain who plans on starting next to Josey Jewell at ILB, along with who starts alongside Dre’Mont Jones and D.J. Jones on the defensive interior.

On the offensive side, the two main position groups that could have some variance are the offensive line and the tight ends.

Both groups have both seen multiple new players added in free agency or the draft.

Along the offensive line, there really is only one position that is cemented, which is left tackle.

As for the tight ends, will Albert Okwuegbunam or Eric Dulcich begin the season as TE1?

Depending on who you talk to here, you may get two different answers.

As for the receivers, we know all of Courtland Sutton, Tim Patrick, and Jerry Jeudy are capable of starting, but will the team consistently start two or three wide receivers?

Let’s take a look at the Denver Broncos’ starting offense for the 2022 season.

Quarterback – Russell Wilson

Imagine that.  Russell Wilson is the starter.  Next.

In all seriousness, Wilson is bringing a 10-year, Hall of Fame career with him to Denver.  He’s a Super Bowl champion with 292 career regular season touchdown passes.

He’s won over 100 regular season games and has shown no signs of slowing down.

The only argument we should be having about Wilson is whether or not he’ll play 10 years or more in Denver.

In his first 10 years in the NFL, Wilson missed just three games, all coming this year. In his 14 games played, he threw for 25 touchdown passes.

In a 17 game season, he’d have been on pace to throw for 30 touchdown passes.

Russell Wilson is still a top five signal caller, and Denver gets to enjoy it all.
