Kendal Hinton, Wide receiver

Everybody’s favorite bad quarterback is still on the roster but Kendall Hinton’s time may be running out, at least in Denver.

Though Hinton will never be forgotten for his emergency relief appearance as a quarterback against the New Orleans Saints in 2020, he will find it tough to make this team as a wide receiver.

The Broncos have Courtland Sutton, Jerry Jeudy, Tim Patrick and K.J. Hamler ahead of him and all of them are likely close to being locks to make the roster. The final couple of spots could come down to special teams ability.

Fifth-round pick Montrell Washington should get a look as the team’s new return man, filling the role that Diontae Spencer had held the past few seasons.

Due to injuries, Hinton was actually pressed into action as a wide receiver last season, catching 15 passes for 175 yards and a touchdown. But he has a lot of names to leap on the depth chart right now and he’ll have to do something pretty big in order to save his spot on this team.
