The Denver Broncos have completed the draft and have signed several undrafted players, putting these six names on the roster bubble.

The Broncos are going to have some spirited competitions and several positions this summer as players attempt to put their best foot forward toward making the team’s 53-man roster.

We have already made our first 53-man roster prediction and though much could change over the next several months, it is clear that this is one of the more complete rosters the Broncos have had in several years.

With that said, there are going to be some difficult decisions to make for Nathaniel Hackett and his coaching staff but as of right now, these six players should consider themselves to be sitting right on top of the proverbial roster bubble, hoping that it doesn’t pop.

Mike Purcell, Defensive lineman

The Broncos do not have the most depth at defensive line but the only two guys at that spot who are likely guaranteed to make the team are DJ Jones and Dre’Mont Jones.

Mike Purcell was a solid run-stopping defensive lineman for the Broncos and having roots in the area made him an easy player to root for. He was a good fit in Vic Fangio’s defensive scheme and at one point, was as effective as any defensive lineman on the roster.

But injuries and ineffective play have left Purcell’s tenure with the Broncos up in the air and he is going to have to outplay a few guys to ensure he sticks around for the future.

The Broncos also drafted two defensive linemen, Eyioma Uwazurike and Matt Henningsen, which makes the odds for Purcell that much worse.
