Three trades Denver Broncos should make post-draft

2. Swing a trade for Eric Kendricks

There has been absolutely no indication that he’s available, but with the Vikings’ recent additions of Jordan Hicks and Brian Asamoah, perhaps Eric Kendricks could be had for the right price?

Kendricks has been one of the better linebackers in the NFL over the last decade.

Drafted in 2015, Kendricks has had over 100 tackles in each season of his career except one.

He’s made a Pro Bowl and an All-Pro and does stay on the field.

Kendricks also notched 5.0 sacks this season.  He’s as solid as they come, and while he is 30 years old, he set a career-high for tackles this season, which was by far the best season of his career.

Eric Kendricks could slide in next to Josey Jewell and give the Denver Broncos a very solid LB duo in the middle.

This would also allow Baron Browning to focus more time coming off the edge, which is where he’s set to begin the offseason.

Adding Eric Kendricks would put a nice bow on the Denver Broncos defense.  They’d have a complete unit, from top to bottom, and would surely be among the league’s best yet again.

Trading Kendricks could save the Vikings a little over $9 million against their cap.
