Denver Broncos 2022 re-draft

206th overall – P Matt Araiza instead of DL Matt Henningsen

How about the Punt God?  Araiza was the best punter in the 2022 NFL Draft and is set to carve out a long career in the NFL as a field-flipper.

He’s a former soccer player and hurdler who had 18 punts of 60-plus yards, including a punt average of over 50 yards per boot.

Sam Martin has been fine as the Denver Broncos punter, but Matt Araiza has ab absolute cannon for a leg and would thrive even more in Denver.

This isn’t really a need for the team, but when you have a chance to wildly upgrade a position like this, you take advantage of the opportunity.

Even though Denver is poised to have a strong offense, which surely means not punting a ton, Araiza will be able to consistently get them out of bad field situations when they happen.
