Denver Broncos 2022 re-draft

2nd pick: OT Bernhard Raimann instead of TE Greg Dulcich

In this new scenario, the Denver Broncos stay put at 75 and select Bernhard Raimann, a converted tight end.

Raimann is a giant.  He’s 6’6″ and over 300 pounds.  His switch from tight end to tackle comes with some nice bonuses.  His quick development into a very good tackle prospect in a few short years should give us a massive indication of how he could play as a pro.

He’s got the size and length.  He’s got the athleticism.

He would also be in a very solid scenario in Denver, where he wouldn’t be called to start immediately.  Obviously, he would be the team’s new right tackle of the future.

Allowing Billy Turner or Calvin Anderson to start for a year or two while Raimann gets up to speed would be a nice transition.

I overall did not like the Dulcich selection.  I don’t think Denver needed to add a tight end this high, and I think a need for another tackle was a more urgent one.
