Tracking all of the Denver Broncos undrafted free-agent signings
The 2022 NFL Draft is complete but as always, the acquisition of future players does not stop there.
Any player who was not drafted is now free to negotiate with any team and sign as a free agent. Over the years, the Denver Broncos have been one of the more successful teams in this area.
It seems that every season, the Broncos happen across at least one undrafted player who ends up making the team’s final roster. At one point, the Broncos had something close to 20 seasons where at least one undrafted player made the team’s 53-man roster.
But some have gone on to do even better.
The Broncos have been as good as any team in history at signing undrafted rookies
Rod Smith, the best wide receiver in team history was undrafted. Chris Harris and C.J. Anderson, two key pieces of the team that won Super Bowl 50 were undrafted players.
Phillip Lindsay became the first undrafted player to ever be selected to the Pro Bowl as a rookie. Shaquil Barrett was an undrafted player and the list goes on.
The team will now set its sights on the undrafted rookies that are available for the taking in this year’s class and we will track each of those moves here.
There were several notable players that were not selected in the draft, including quarterbacks Carson Strong and Caleb Eleby. Both of them will be free to sign with any team of their choosing.
Check back often as we will update this list as news becomes available of these players signing with the Broncos.
