Denver Broncos prospect no. 2: Arnold Ebiketie, EDGE, Penn State

There’s something in the water there at Penn State.

So many freakish athletes have been coming out of the Nittany Lions’ program these days, it’s getting hard to keep up.

Arnold Ebiketie is no exception.

Ebiketie doesn’t have the same type of burst as some of the other pass rushers in this league. The “elite” threshold for pass rushers is around 1.60 in the 10-yard split but Ebiketie has a variety of ways he can win with explosiveness, length, and agility.

Over the last two seasons, he had five forced fumbles, 13.5 sacks, and 26.5 tackles for loss.

That kind of production is exactly what the Denver Broncos need off the edge but how certain would they have to be about Ebiketie’s NFL projection to move up and get him?

To sacrifice picks, you had better be pretty certain.

The best possible value for Ebiketie would be to get him at 64 but he might also be a player you trade some picks to move up and get.
