Broncos right tackle option
. 852. OT. Minnesota. DanielFaalele. player. .
An absolute mountain of a man, the 6-foot-8, 384-pound Daniel Faalele is an incredibly intriguing prospect.
To start, if you like big men with freakish quickness, then you’ll love this player. Faalele has surprising quickness and once he gets out in space, can completely eliminate defenders.
As a run blocker, Faalele is a difficult force to deal with and in pass protection, his size makes him very difficult to get around. Smaller, speedy edge rushers will give him some trouble at the next level, but Faalele’s overall skillset will be effective.
If he were still available with the No. 64 pick, he could be seen as a bargain. Having played at Minnesota, it’s likely that Paton is already quite familiar with him.
Faalele was born in Australia and was a basketball and rugby player first, not taking up football until much later. He hasn’t played the game that long and still possesses some raw skills but the ceiling for this guy is incredibly high.
