Three Denver Broncos that could be traded before or during the draft

2. Jerry Jeudy, WR

This is going to be an unpopular pick, but Jerry Jeudy getting traded at some point before or during the draft wouldn’t surprise.  He’s had an up and down first two seasons, putting up 850 receiving yards in his first season, but being misused in his second season, all while missing games with an ankle sprain.

I think the general consensus around the league is that Jeudy is still wildly talented, but just hasn’t been used properly.

However, there are many teams that are desperate for receivers, and I think Jeudy would be a very attractive player for them.

If a team would be willing to part with a second-round pick, would Denver make that deal?  They already have Courtland Sutton and Tim Patrick both under extensions and are expected to get KJ Hamler back either by week one or soon after.

Could Denver get a second-rounder for Jeudy, and then take another receiver at 64 to sort of reset the position?  I think it’s plausible.

There’s also still a respectable free agent pool of wide receivers to sign that would come cheaper than Jeudy’s rookie deal.

I would also add that there are more valuable positions for the Denver Broncos to target if they were to get a draft pick for Jeudy like edge rusher, cornerback, or defensive line.  Even if Jeudy is traded, Russell Wilson would still have an absurd amount of offensive weaponry.
