Kansas City Chiefs nightmare move for the Denver Broncos

The Kansas City Chiefs have had one of the worst offseasons of any team in the NFL so far in 2022.

They lost their top cornerback in Charvarius Ward and traded away Tyreek Hill a few weeks later.

Broncos fans rejoice.

The only issue is, the Chiefs still have that pesky number 15 under center. As long as Patrick Mahomes is the Chiefs’ quarterback, they’re going to be Super Bowl contenders, and now they have a ton of draft picks to reload the roster.

I think Kansas City is poised to be more active in upgrading their defense with their top picks, but there is one move that would legitimately be frightening. If the Chiefs move up and somehow find a way to draft Drake London, I will be a little upset.

Up to this point, the Chiefs have done the majority of their damage with smaller, speedy receivers on the outside.

Imagining Mahomes with a 6-foot-5 weapon like Drake London?

That’s genuinely scary.

London has a massive catch radius and uses it well. There is virtually no ball thrown in his vicinity that he doesn’t find a way to come down with.

Patrick Mahomes hasn’t really needed a huge margin for error so far as an NFL player, but imagine him having one with a playmaker like Drake London on the outside.

I think the Chiefs would have to trade up to acquire London, but with multiple first-round picks, that’s certainly not out of the realm of possibility if that’s the player they target.
