Scouting Report. LB. Wyoming. player. 903. . ChadMuma.

This is a pick Broncos fans would enjoy for a number of reasons. Starting with the obvious reason, Muma is originally from Colorado, and playing not too far away in Wyoming has kept him fairly local.

The Broncos have had great stories in recent years with local players coming to Denver in Phillip Lindsay and Dalton Risner. Chad Muma would easily be another one.

But on the field, Muma makes a lot of sense for the Broncos as an inside linebacker. He can be a three-down player, something the team could use, for his ability to play the run and the pass.

Muma is stout against the run, but he can drop back into coverage and stick with tight ends too.

The Broncos have re-signed Josey Jewell and brought in Alex Singleton, but both Alexander Johnson and Kenny Young remain free agents.

The Broncos need more help at inside linebacker no matter what and with the free-agent market beginning to thin out, the team absolutely needs to start thinking about taking one in the draft.

In the next month, you will likely see many linebackers mocked to the Broncos and Muma may be one of them.
