Once the Denver Broncos traded Von Miller it sent shockwaves to not only Broncos Country but national media. More importantly, GM George Paton and Miller were still on the best of terms after the trade. Paton did right by Miller keeping him in contact and traded him to a Super Bowl contending team that won the ring.

Miller showed in the playoffs he still has a lot left in the tank. In just two Super Bowls Miller proved he has the dip, bend, bull rush, and strength as one of the best pass rushers of his generation. Between the options for Miller, it seems he is deciding between Denver and Los Angeles Rams. The day before Russell Wilson’s trade was agreed in principle Miller took to Instagram asking if Denver would give him his old locker back and the number 40 or 58. He had been with the Broncos his entire career. A career with a HOF QB and a quarterback carousel. Miller had to suspect something was coming with Wilson to Denver for him to be interested in a reunion.

Taking the quarterback question out of it. Once again, a pass rusher is a need. The team will have Bradley Chubb as starting edge rusher. Chubb is a fine pass rusher, but the depth and still a starter should be strongly considered. Miller will come home and be like he never left. The sign of a great general manager is being honest with your player and not closing a door. Even if Miller doesn’t sign with Denver the terms in which it was ended are still on good terms.
