Through his social media accounts, Von Miller has made some intriguing comments about a potential return with the Denver Broncos. All of this happening early afternoon, late morning, Von Miller has Broncos Country with their ears perked.
Former Super Bowl 50 MVP Von Miller has taken to Twitter and Instagram to express his desire to return to the Denver Broncos.
Miller was traded to the Los Angeles Rams before the trade deadline this season for their second and third-round picks. Miller of course had a phenomenal playoff run that helped the Rams keep the Lombardi in the city that the Super Bowl was played in.
In what seemed like a pipe dream, some momentum is now building in favor of Von coming home to Broncos Country where he belongs. He has said many times that Denver was where his heart resides, does Von Miller truly mean that?
He also posted two stories back-to-back on his Instagram with an image of him in a Denver Broncos uniform asking the question, 58 or 40 with orange and blue diamond to follow. Miller then followed that up with another potentially cryptic message pondering if he could get his old locker back…
Ab-so-freaking-loutely Von Miller can have his old locker back.
As Denver Bronco fans implode with excitement, Von Miller posted a video from the back as he was hanging out with his pops. Miller said “I wouldn’t tease y’all like that man. First time I’m a free agent, and I’m just sitting on the beach man. BRONCOS COUNTRY WHAT’S UP?”
So not only did he follow up, he shouted Broncos Country out. That certainly has to mean something.
Most of us expected the tornado to hit Broncos Country tomorrow if Aaron Rodgers comes out with a statement but it looks like it had come a day early. Does Von Miller have any insight on the potential quarterback situation?
Would he come back to play with middling quarterback play, or does Von Miller expect the Denver Broncos to trade for Aaron Rodgers or Russell Wilson? Maybe all of this falls back into the lap of George Paton and if he feels the Denver Broncos need Von Miller back.
If you ask me, it is an obvious answer, yes. Bring Von Miller back home. Broncos Country wants it, and the pass rush needs it. Von Miller can come finish his career with the Denver Broncos and finish out the twilight of his career where it all started.
Denver Broncos mock draft, post-Combine: Jermaine Johnson on top
After a very good NFL Scouting Combine, how might the Denver Broncos approach the 2022 NFL Draft, even as QB questions loom?
This move would not only make Broncos Country happy, but it would make George Paton look like an absolute genius.
Von Miller, come home!
