Denver Broncos: Free agents from the AFC South

Tennessee Titans – Harold Landry, EDGE

Landry was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2018 NFL Draft and enjoyed a career year in 2021, amassing 12.0 sacks and putting himself in line for a massive payday.

As we know, Denver needs a boost of the edge and someone to pair with Bradley Chubb.

My first choice would be Chandler Jones, but Landry is set to turn just 26 this offseason, so he could give Denver much-needed long-term stability.

Houston Texans – Desmond King, CB

I am a huge Desmond King fan and have wanted him to sign with Denver for multiple years now.  King, a former All-Pro, could take Bryce Callahan’s spot as the nickel.  He does not have the injury history that Callahan does and has elite return ability.

Again, this goes back to Denver’s need to keep their secondary as stacked as possible.  King can help provide that and would not be too expensive for Denver to sign.

Jacksonville Jaguars – DJ Chark, WR

In the event that the Denver Broncos possibly trade one of their wide receivers for a quarterback, signing someone like DJ Chark makes a lot of sense.

The 6’4′, 200-pound product put up 1,000 yards in 2019 and only played in four games in 2021.  Chark is still just 25 and is 6’4″.  Did I mention he is 6’4″?

The combination of size and speed is insanely valuable in the NFL.  Denver should at least sign Chark just to make sure no other AFC West foe does.

Indianapolis Colts – Mark Glowinski, OG

Mark Glowinski has been a part of one of the best offensive lines in football over the past few seasons.

Glowinski has missed just one game the past three seasons.  He stays on the field and is an absolute mauler.

Pairing Glowinski with Quinn Meinerz would give the Denver Broncos a pair of insanely nasty and tough guards.  Denver needs to re-establish their identity as being a run-first team, and having a nasty offensive line is a great start.
