McTelvin Agim, Defensive Lineman

A third-round pick in 2020, McTelvin Agim has been a pretty big disappointment for the Broncos. The team knew he was raw when he was selected, but you would think he would have shown a bit more progress to this point.

In fact, his high draft status might be the only reason the team hasn’t already given up on him.

A frequent gameday inactive when Vic Fangio was running things, Agim has a total of 12 tackles and 1.5 sacks in his career, which has included a short time on the field.

Agim was selected with the No. 95 overall pick in 2020 and the Broncos saw a guy who could be perfect for their 3-4 scheme as he played both defensive end and defensive tackle while at Arkansas. Instead, he has barely seen action in the regular season.

The Broncos are going to address the defensive line this offseason as it seems to be one of the weaker positions on the team with only Shelby Harris and Dre’Mont Jones seen as key pieces on the roster.

Agim is going to have to carve out a role but if he doesn’t get off to a quick start in camp and show something in preseason games, he could easily be a player cut when the team has to get down to 53 players.
