Jerry Jeudy, Wide Receiver

Fans are not going to like seeing Jerry Jeudy on this list but let’s face it, he has had two rough years in Denver. The reasons for that can be debated, but what matters are the results.

Perhaps Jeudy has not had the best quarterbacks throwing him the ball. Perhaps the offensive scheme has not been one that has set him up for success. Plus, he’s had injuries.

As a result, Jeudy has caught 90 passes for 1,323 yards in his first two years in the league. Those numbers could certainly be worse, but as a first-round pick, you would like to see him hit those totals in one year.

Then there has been the problem of finding the end zone, something Jeudy didn’t do one single time in 2021. He did miss several games during the year with a high ankle sprain but there can be no excuses for Jeudy this coming season. He must produce.

The Broncos and new head coach Nathaniel Hackett are going to go with the option that they feel best with at quarterback and whoever that is will likely look for Jeudy often in the passing game. Drew Lock has done that and Jeudy has dropped many catchable passes.

He has to be better, and he probably knows it.
