The Denver Broncos are a team looking to turn things around after missing the playoffs in each of the last six seasons.

Prior to all of that, the Broncos won Super Bowl 50, but after the mediocrity since that win, that seems like another lifetime ago. Now, George Paton and his staff are tasked with turning this team around and getting it back to the prominence that fans in Broncos Country became accustomed to.

The NFL is a tough business. Players are often judged on a “What have you done for me lately” system and when the answer has been not much, tough decisions are often required.

The Broncos are a talented team and with $38 million in available cap space as of this writing and 11 selections in this year’s draft, they figure to get much more talented. Those acquisitions will put pressure on the players behind them.

The Broncos are going to need these four players to step up this season and become productive pieces of the team moving forward or they could all find themselves playing somewhere else next year.

These players are facing what could easily amount to a make-or-break season in 2022.
