Under the radar quarterback options for the Denver Broncos

Tyrod Taylor, Houston Texans

Tyrod Taylor has been connected to the Denver Broncos in years past, and perhaps this is the year that they finally form a partnership.

Taylor has bounced around the NFL since being drafted by the Ravens in 2011.  He’s best known for his decent three seasons in Buffalo, where he passed for 51 touchdowns, 16 interceptions.  He also rushed for over 1,500 yards and another 14 touchdowns.

He went 22-20 in these starts as well.  There is a very small connection here, as Nathaniel Hackett was the Bills’ offensive coordinator from 2013-2014.  Taylor arrived in 2015.

Tyrod Taylor is by every metric a solid quarterback and is widely respected around the NFL.

The Texans might want to keep him, but Denver could swoop in and sign him to start in 2022, or at least compete for the job.

Taylor takes care of the football and is mobile.  He’s better than Teddy Bridgewater and Drew Lock, so why not?
