Former Oregon defensive end listed the Denver Broncos as a team he’s excited to meet with during the NFL Combine.

Kayvon Thibodeaux was once projected to be the top overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. Since then, he’s been overlooked by guys such as Aidan Hutchinson, offensive tackle Evan Neal, and Ikem Ekwonu. If that’s the case and teams actually believe that Thibodeaux will fall, could the Denver Broncos be a destination for him?

During the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, Thibodeaux was asked which teams he is most excited to meet with. Among the teams he listed was the Broncos.

The Broncos currently hold the ninth overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. If Thibodeaux falls, it is likely that a player or two the team loved, to begin with, is probably off the board. Thibodeaux would then fall into their lap.

We have talked endlessly about the team finding their new franchise quarterback. However, it is also important to get pass rush. In a division with Patrick Mahomes and Justin Herbert, being able to get to the quarterback is an absolute must. Thibodeaux would be a dream pick if he ended up being available at nine.

The Broncos being one of the three teams Thibodeaux is most excited to meet with at the NFL Combine is exciting to hear. You want players who not only will make a tremendous impact on your team but who also would love to be a part of your franchise.

Even without Von Miller in Denver, Thibodeaux appears to welcome the possibility of playing alongside Bradley Chubb, Shelby Harris, and Justin Simmons.

The Broncos have 11 picks in the 2022 NFL Draft. If the majority of the players they are interested in are gone early on, and Thibodeaux is still on the board, he should absolutely be highly considered.
