Find a way to make Jerry Jeudy a bigger piece of the offense

Between poor quarterback play and injuries, Jerry Jeudy has had a rough start to his professional career. But there are only so many excuses and some of his poor play can not be placed on the offensive scheme or the guys getting him the ball.

He simply needs to show up more.

For his career, Jeudy has caught 90 passes but he has found the end zone just three times. Last year, he caught only 38 passes and failed to find the end zone even one time. There’s no excuse for that.

If Jeudy was a fifth-round pick, those numbers would suffice. But he was a first-round choice, one that the Broncos were hoping would hit big for them, especially when you consider that he was drafted ahead of both Justin Jefferson and CeeDee Lamb.

Jeudy needs to step up this season or the “bust” word is going to start flying around. No matter who the quarterback is, he must make an impact.

It is on Nathaniel Hackett and his offensive staff to begin working on this now so that the team can unlock Jeudy’s full potential and all of the traits that made him the No. 15 overall pick of the 2020 draft.

No more excuses. Make some plays, get into the end zone, and prove you are the guy the team thought that you were when it selected you.
