Denver Broncos trade target #4: CB Greedy Williams

A second-round pick of the Cleveland Browns in 2019, Greedy Williams has 88 tackles, two interceptions, 12 pass deflections and has forced one fumble in 28 games.

28 games in three years, you say? Unfortunately Williams missed the entire 2020 season due to an injury to a nerve injury in his shoulder. Every player involved in a trade must pass physical tests before a trade can be confirmed and processed. If the Broncos like what they see, they can go ahead and state that Williams passed the conditioning test.

In several images in this article, you can see some of what Williams needs to improve on as a cornerback, including tackling and eye placement.

I would personally have no worries with Williams if his medical situation comes back clean. Fundamentals are easy to clean up and with Evero as well as some cornerback veterans and Justin Simmons at safety, I feel like he’ll be able to have a fresh start in Denver and hopefully be able to produce amazing coverage and tackling skills.

The big question would be, how much would the Broncos have to give up to trade for the former second-round pick? I’m also not really worried about that as the team has George Paton as their general manager, but it is certainly something to wonder.
