Denver Broncos trade target #3: CB Troy Hill

Cornerback Troy Hill has spent time with several teams, including the Cleveland Browns (current), St. Louis/Los Angeles Rams (2015-2020), Cincinnati Bengals (2015), and New England Patriots (2015).

The main connection here is with the Rams, where now-Broncos defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero was the safeties coach in Los Angeles from 2017 to 2020.

In five seasons with the Rams, Hill played multiple cornerback spots including the left cornerback spot and the right side. Hill also has experience in the slot, currently where Bryce Callahan is located with the Broncos.

Hill had a total of seven interceptions as a member of the Rams. He’s had a total of zero interceptions in Cleveland and Cincinnati.

While that does not sound appealing, the point is that Evero should be a huge help in a potentially big year for Hill if he were to be traded to the Denver Broncos.

Hill’s current contract is scheduled to void following the 2022 season, so if the Broncos traded for Hill, they would be wise to negotiate a new deal with the 30-year old.
