Denver Broncos who could be replaced in 2022

Drew Lock and Teddy Bridgewater, QB

Do I even need to say more?  Both Drew Lock and Teddy Bridgewater are not starting-caliber quarterbacks in the NFL, and Denver is sure to start someone else for 2022.

Teddy’s statistics might lead you to believe that he was pretty solid for Denver in 2021, but the offense wasn’t any better, and Bridgewater did not show any sort of come-from-behind ability.

He was as pedestrian as it comes, and to be fair, that’s what he’s always been, so I suppose he was par for the course.  In the AFC West, though, being pedestrian and safe is not good enough.

Lock had a solid three-game stretch to end the season, and probably convinced a lot of people he’s worthy of being a solid backup in the NFL, but the Drew Lock experiment needs to end.

I’ve been a huge Lock fan and supporter since he’s been drafted, but I do not see a way forward for in Drew Lock starting for the Denver Broncos in 2022.  It just can’t happen.

I think Drew Lock staying on the team as the primary backup makes a lot of sense but look for someone else, whether a veteran or rookie, to be starting for the Denver Broncos come week 1.
