The Denver Broncos might look to replace a few starters going into the 2022 NFL season. Which 2021 starters are at risk of being replaced?

The Denver Broncos do not have many glaring holes outside of quarterback, but they did start a few average to slightly below average players in 2021, and could look to replace them before the 2022 season.

The team is set to have about $40 million in cap space and a nice cupboard filled with draft picks to retool their roster to the best of their ability.

Free agency is set to start in a few weeks, and decisions soon loom for major quarterbacks, namely Aaron Rodgers and Russell Wilson.

Denver figures to be in on a lot of deals to upgrade their signal-caller, but which other positions could they look to improve on for 2022?

Bobby Massie played well by most every metric in 2021 and has a very good chance to return in 2022.

However, Massie is in his 30s and does not figure to be in the team’s long-term plans.  While there isn’t anything wrong with starting Massie again in 2022, Denver might be smart to explore other avenues.

The New Orleans Saints, who are disgustingly over the cap, might be willing to trade their own Pro Bowl right tackle, Ryan Ramczyk, for the right price.

Denver could also decide to replace Massie with another free agent right tackle, like Morgan Moses or Dennis Kelly.

Thirdly, the team could simply draft a right tackle and trust them enough to start week 1.  Anything is possible, and I think someone else starting at right tackle is very possible.
