Denver Broncos Super Bowl target No. 2: Joe Noteboom, OT, Rams

One of the top areas the Denver Broncos will need to look for upgrades in the 2022 offseason is at the right tackle position.

Right tackle has been such a revolving door in recent years, and George Paton anticipated even more of the same in 2021 with the free agent signings of Bobby Massie and Cameron Fleming.

That turned out to be a great decision as the Broncos wound up not only using those two guys as starters but also Calvin Anderson and even Quinn Bailey out there.

It’s probably not ideal to target former third-round pick Joe Noteboom (out of TCU) considering he just landed on injured reserve but he is one player out of the crop of free agents from both of these teams that could be worth a shot.

Broncos fans might get some Menelik Watson or Donald Stephenson vibes from Noteboom considering he hasn’t been a full-time starter for the Rams, but he’s played well when given an opportunity and it’s hard to fault him for not seeing the field a ton because Andrew Whitworth and Rob Havenstein are two of the best in the business at their positions.

Noteboom has obviously played in a version of the offense the Denver Broncos are expected to run and I think he could fit in well as someone you maybe pay for potential and get more out of him than anticipated, similar to what the Packers did with Billy Turner.
