The Denver Broncos will undoubtedly have their eyes on some of the pending free agents playing in Super Bowl LVI for the Rams and Bengals.

The Denver Broncos are already going to be taking at least a couple of pieces from Super Bowl LVI when they eventually hire Los Angeles Rams assistant coaches Ejiro Evero and Dwayne Stukes as defensive coordinator and special teams coordinator, respectively.

Those many not be the only ones Denver Broncos general manager George Paton goes after to upgrade his roster in the 2022 offseason, however. Both the NFC Champion Los Angeles Rams and AFC Champion Cincinnati Bengals have a variety of players the Denver Broncos could pursue in free agency.

Which players could become available that line up with the Denver Broncos’ primary needs in 2022? Let’s take a look at five.

Denver Broncos Super Bowl target No. 1: BJ Hill, DL, Bengals

A third-round pick out of North Carolina State back in 2018, it’s surprising that the Denver Broncos did not try to swing a trade for BJ Hill last offseason when he became available.

The Cincinnati Bengals did make that particular trade, and Hill played well in a contract year for them, racking up 5.5 sacks in the regular season with three QB hits and 1.5 sacks along with an interception now in Cincinnati’s magical playoff run.

A former college teammate of Bradley Chubb, Hill would slide in nicely with Shelby Harris and Dre’Mont Jones on that Denver Broncos defensive front.

He set a career-high with 12 QB hits and 50 total tackles this past season.
