Denver Broncos Free Agent defensive line targets

Jarran Reed

If Denver wants someone with the most upside, Reed might be a good target.  A former Seahawk, Reed signed a one-year deal with the Kansas City Chiefs for 2021.  Reed didn’t exactly play like he did in 2018, where he had 10.5 sacks, but he was a 17 game starter for the Chiefs.

He’s started every game since 2020 and could provide a nice boost for Denver.

Reed, in a down year in Kansas City, managed 2.5 sacks, 12 quarterback hits, and 43 tackles.

Again, not someone who is going to wow us on the field, but could be a nice depth option or a starter for the Broncos.

Jarran Reed has also appeared in the playoffs in 2016, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021.  His extension post-season experience could be a welcome presence in the locker room as well.

The Denver Broncos are going to need to explore the draft to address their defensive line, but there are a few quality options in free agency to plug and play for a year or two.
