Denver Broncos Free Agent defensive line targets

Solomon Thomas was the 3rd overall pick of the 2017 NFL Draft, so he has a ton of talent, but he has not lived up to his draft status.

However, after four disappointing seasons in San Francisco, Thomas had a nice career year for the Las Vegas Raiders in 2021, setting a career-high in sacks (3.5) and QB hits (12).

One of the best qualities of Thomas is his age.  He turns 27 at the end of August and is one of the few quality defensive linemen free agents who isn’t over 30 years old.

Perhaps Thomas can build on his strong 2021 season for the Denver Broncos in 2022.

Solomon Thomas is a great athlete with above-average quickness.  He could join Dre’Mont Jones in that category and hopefully create a nice duo on the inside.

Honestly, the Broncos should sign Thomas because he won’t be too expensive and is still young.  There are more talented free agent linemen out there, but Thomas is someone who could be counted on for multiple seasons if in the right situation.
