Denver Broncos trade candidate: Noah Fant, TE

Again, to be extremely clear, I am not advocating the Denver Broncos trade the guys on this particular list.

I’m taking a look at some players that might be dangled in a trade if it’s required in order for the Broncos to acquire a star quarterback.

If you’re a team like the Green Bay Packers or Seattle Seahawks and you are trading an Aaron Rodgers or Russell Wilson, you might not want strictly draft compensation in return when a team like the Broncos could trade you a known asset.

For my money, Noah Fant would be one of the most desired trade pieces on the Broncos as of right now if I were an acquiring team.

Fant is entering the final year of his rookie deal with a fifth-year team option in 2023. His athletic traits, production, and contract make him one of the most valuable assets on the Denver Broncos roster right now.

Of course, with a star QB on board, everyone would prefer to keep a guy like Fant and watch him flourish, especially in an offense that seems far better suited for his skill set.

With that being said, if you were George Paton, would you let Fant be a deal-breaker in a potential trade for Aaron Rodgers or Russell Wilson?

I’m not so sure.
