The Denver Broncos are about to have a very busy offseason in 2022. Who are some players the team might consider trading if the price is right?

The Denver Broncos are going to have a very busy, very action-packed 2022 offseason. Things are already off to a hot start with the team’s head coaching search and the hiring of Green Bay Packers offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett.

What could be coming next? That’s anyone’s guess.

An educated guess would involve the quarterback position because that is obviously going to be one of the major dominoes that has to fall before the Broncos can really pursue the rest of their “Plan A”, whatever that looks like.

Which players could the Denver Broncos trade in 2022?

General manager George Paton said when he was hired in 2021 that he and the Denver Broncos would be “in on every deal” as it relates to trades, and he’s made good on his word thus far.

If Paton is going to strike a deal for a big-time quarterback in 2022, it might require saying goodbye to some other players that Denver Broncos fans don’t really want to say goodbye to.

The majority of players on the roster that could potentially be traded would have to be in the context of acquiring a star quarterback, otherwise trading them would make very little sense.

The Denver Broncos are not rebuilding, they are not reloading, and it doesn’t seem like they’re heading towards selling off players for draft picks. With that being said, which players could be moved in the 2022 offseason, whether they are traded as part of a package for Aaron Rodgers or Russell Wilson or otherwise?

Let’s take a look at four names.
