Teddy Bridgewater could start for the Seattle Seahawks.

Teddy Bridgewater may not have the arm like most quarterbacks in the NFL, but he has similar mobility as Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson.

If Wilson does end up forcing a trade from the Seattle Seahawks, the team will need a plan for its future. Their current backups are Geno Smith and Jacob Eason.

Typically, a team builds its playbook around its quarterback and other players around him and if there’s one thing in common between the two, it’s their legs.

The Seahawks could soon be on their way to a coaching change with Pete Carroll nearing retirement and with that, maybe it would start something where Wilson will want out. Bridgewater could be a temporary starter for the Seahawks unless they are comfortable with Geno Smith, who did play pretty well in four starts while Wilson recovered from thumb surgery.

The Seahawks do have a nice group of receivers in D.K. Metcalf and Tyler Lockett. They have a great running back in Chris Carson and could potentially utilize some read-option with Bridgewater. It would be a fun thing to watch.
